Theme day: “almost” empty
It should have been called empty, but in my case I went for almost empty. Even though in a place like this one [we're in the north of Argentina, not far from the Bolivian border], the place’s called Salinas Grandes, it is hard to see lots of humans gathered around this salt desert. Emptiness, quietness and beauty describe this part of the country. This is a must-to-see spot for those who come visit Argentina.

Argentina is a lot more than just Buenos Aires. Down below is a collage of different places I’ve been to in the country and for this month’s theme, I wanted to portray some places else than Buenos Aires.

**Update: Woooa we have a winner, Jonemo from Daily London photo, guessed right. This is Hackberry in Arizona, that sign stands by the Hackberry general store. Love those theme day moments. Especially today, as all the DP people, we get to post a picture of a city different than ours. Therefore, and because it is been a while since I last did a win-a-postcard contest, today is your chance to get a postcard from Buenos Aires. I wish I can tell you more about that place where I took this picture, but if I do, there won’t be a contest. So I promise to include more info as soon as the contest is over. I know this is not an easy one, I mean, I don’t know.. some of you out there, may find right away which city it is, since it is a city, a small one ok, but still, it’s a city.
