The Calchaquí Valley is an area in the northwestern region of Argentina which crosses the provinces of Catamarca, Tucumán and Salta. It is best known for its contrast of colours and its unique geography that ranges from the mountain desert to the subtropical forest.

Alta Gracia is a city located in the north-centre of the province of Córdoba, Argentina. Its name means “High Grace”. In the 17th century Alta Gracia was as a large agricultural ranch (an estancia) operated by Jesuits.

Reaching high ground

Torre Monumental or Torre de los Ingleses is a clock tower located in Retiro, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was a gift from the local British community to the city in commemoration of the first centennial of the May Revolution of 1810. After the Falklands War, the tower was renamed Torre Monumental, though some still call it Torre de los Ingleses.
