Going away for the week end

The port of Buenos Aires. It has been declared open port in the late 1700s by Charles III of Spain. I already mentioned this in an older posting, but the people of Buenos Aires are known as porteños (people of the port), acknowledging the major historical importance of the port in the development of the city and the nation. The boats roomed and the tip of green on the left belong to the yacht club argentino.

  1. I was just there a week ago at the end of my vacation. I couldn’t believe how many dead fish were in the water. Thousands of them all around the sailboats. Is that from heavy water polution?
