Theme Day: Sister Cities
Sometimes referred to as the “[Sister city] of South America” – it is easy to find Buenos Aires’ sister city. BA has also received a strong influence by European culture. I took this shot of the sister city last time I went there on vacation. Now it’s time for you to name it :=)

It looks like Paris’métro. But Paris has only one sister city.
Nice picture BTW.

I’ll guess Madrid… and be happy if I get to know that I guessed the country correctly!

I do not recognise the metro but I do think that it is a very nice photograph.

Very nice perspective

You certainly do have alot of sister cities. I think it looks like Paris. I know the Paris bloggers are only admitting to Rome as their sister city but my research shows they have many.

Hi all and thanks for stopping by. That’s true that Paris’ unique sister city is Rome. I’ve read different things where BA is also listed at Paris’ other sister city but I’d rather see it as a partner city as Wikipedia says ;=)
KarineThanks for your comments everyone

I also would have guessed Paris however I admit I have only ridden the Paris Metro a few times … Wikipedia list your sister cities and I’m amazed at how long the list is.

Isn’t Buenos Aires considered to be the Paris of South America?

Miami, Florida?

As a resident of Paris it was easy to see that this is the Paris Metro: the floor-to-cieling advertisements, the red vending machines, the Metro and city maps near the exits and entrances. I know this place like the back of my hand since, as a Parisian, I spend a lot of time here, underground!
