[...] Loads of great photos,as usual, from Karine recently in her Buenos Aires Weekly and Daily photo blogs, including ones of some coffins in a worse for wear Recoleta Cemetery mausoleum, the Palacio de Justica building in Plaza Lavalle, a rosy cloud view from the top of the English Tower in Retiro, the Japanese Gardens in Palermo, the stunning Palacio de Aguas Corrientes building on Av. Cordoba, and finally, some varied photos of Recoleta and it’s Basilica, Nuestra Señora del Pilar. Nice shots Karine! [...]

Hi

I'm writing a paper for my degree course in Spanish and Latin American studies on burial sites in South America. I see from your blog that you've visited Recoleta Cemetary in Buenos Aires. The place left me with quite a lasting impression and would be interested to hear other people's views on it. Would you mind dropping me an email to tell me what you thought of the place and why? Just a few lines, if you can find the time. I would be very grateful.

I'm also going to write something on the general cemetary in Porvenir (Chile) and the burial site of El Senor de Sipán, so if you've been there, too, I would lalso be very interested to learn what you think of these places.

Naturally this also applies to anyone else who reads this comment on your blog.

Kind regards

Wow, that is amazing! I saw caskets piled up in Dublin at St. Michan's church, very old and dusty too. There is even a body that you can touch of a crusader!
